Alexandra Cotae

founder , general manager

Alexandra Cotae graduated from International Business Administration and Communication master’s program at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, Babeş-Bolyai University and holds a bachelor’s degree in History at the Faculty of History and Philosophy of the same university.

In the last 4 years, she wrote 2 intercultural projects, participated in over 20 inter and multicultural events and volunteered in organizing 5 of them, including: NapoMUN (Cluj-Napoca Model United Nations) as member of the Executive Committee, Hoia Olympic Games - Festival of Traditional Games from Around the World, the Interwar Era Festival, Diwali-Eid party (organized by foreign medicine students), charitable Christmas concert Song for the World’s Children in Zalău city for poor children in India.

Alexandra also participated in 5 civic debates, since 2010, at local, national and international level, with themes on community, international and intercultural issues: National Debate organized by European Parliament television, EuroParlTV, in the cycle of shows „Let’s Talk”, on the subject European Union Enlargement and the adherence of Turkey ; Civic Debate within the Closing of the Project Integration and Diversity in Education in Europe Conference; Civic debate within the project The 3rd space of the active citizenship; Iran: history, culture, modernism conference followed by a Question and Answer Session with His Excellency Hamid Moayyer, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran

In search of professional development opportunities, she experienced network marketing, business consultancy for 1 year , 3 years of teaching training and practice, and attended more than 20 meetings, workshops, seminars, trainings, courses, conferences of personal development, financial education, business, entrepreneurship, economy, marketing, sales techniques, and volunteered in organizing the Innovation and Development of the Cluj business environment conference.

Public Relations Department

Oana Cristorean

Oana Cristorean is currently specializing in law. Already on the way to becoming a diplomat, she has participated in over 8 international conferences in the last couple of years.

Oana has been distinguished with the "Tudor Draganu" special award for her take on terrorism confrontation and state responsability.

Lately, she has taken part in the Bucharest International Student Model United Nations Conference, as the Ambassador of Lebanon to the The Disarmament and Security Committee of the United Nations.

Oana is passionate about national security as well as international and intercultural relations and believes that the key to achievieng world-wide peace is education. In this sense, she is also certified in teaching legal education to students up to highschool level after attending a specialised course taught by judge Cristi Danileț, member of the Superior Council of Magistracy in Romania, and organised by VeDem Just-Voices for Democracy and Justice Association.

Marketing Department

Cristian Taloş

Cristian Taloş has been specializing in chemical engineering and human resources for the past 10 years.

He has been an active volunteer for the past 10 years, working on projects for the city of Cluj-Napoca, as well as being a part of the Chemistry Student Organization.

As a member of the human resources department, he acquired competences in fund-raising and in managing new members, humanitarian projects as well as activities that benefit his university.

Cristian joined Multicultural Business Institute in an effort to help bring together people from every cultural background with the purpose of making an everlasting impact on the world in the future.



Project Management Department

Andreea Sorina Stoian

Andreea Stoian has more specialisations, as a graduate of the: Faculty of Mathematics, Babeş-Bolyai University, bachelor’s level; Regional Development Evaluation master’s program created by the Faculty of European Studies and the Faculty of Business, Babeş-Bolyai University in partnership with the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca and Centre for Regional Studies of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences; Performant Management master’s program of the Faculty of European Studies; Applied Informatics and Programming program in the School of Postgraduate Academic Studies of Technical University of Cluj-Napoca.

In the last 7 years, Andreea has worked as a professional in project writing and supervising, as a cultural programs coordinator, trainer for European funds expert for 3 private cultural organisations in Cluj-Napoca at the same time and is currently involved in writing business plan, too.

From these positions, she wrote and implemented social, educational, cultural and youth projects, attracted national and international funds (local budget, Ministry of Culture, Uniter, Erasmus +, NGO Fund in Romania, Ministry of External Affairs, Diversity Fund, National Cultural Fund Administration, etc.), monitored and evaluated the project team and activities.

As a trainer, she provided support and guidance to participants in writing and implementing community service projects.

Andreea also has 6 years work experience in private companies as accountant, secretaty, assistant manager and another 6 of teaching.



Human Resources Department

Ioana Luca

Psychology specialist, graduate of the Faculty of Psychology, Babeş-Bolyai University, Ioana aims for a personal future that lies in creating an organisational environment conducive to a successful business.



Economic Department

Marcela Domide

Marcela Domide is expert accountant, member of C.E.C.C.A.R. (Body of Expert and Licensed Accountants of Romania), with a 16-year old experience in the field , through high-school and university studies as well as work in private companies.

She has a double specialisation, as a graduate the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, and the Faculty of Law, Babeş-Bolyai University, both of them at bachelor’s level.

She is the administrator and unique associate of a specialised firm that provides accounting and financial auditing activities, tax consultancy.

Marcela is also a member of the Board of Directors of another commercial society which she represents in relation to the fiscal and legal authorities and where she keeps the accounting records, convenes the general meetings of the shareholders.



Legal Department

Andreea Mihalache

Andreea Mihalache has a double specialisation, in Law and Public Administration.

She graduated from the Faculty of Law, Babeş-Bolyai University and master’s program European Law and National Business Law of the same faculty.

Andreea is also a graduate of the College of Political, Administrative and Communication Science of the same university, Public Administration section,bachelor’s level, followed by the international master’s program in Public Services Management-a partnership between Babeş-Bolyai University and Michigan State University.

The subjecs covered in both areas, including Civil Law-Contracts, Internal and International Commercial Contracts, Commercial Law, Labor or NGO Management, Public Finances, Program Evaluation, Strategic Planning enables her to work as a professional in the legal department.

Andreea also got practical experience in the field during her professional practice at the Cluj Court and Cluj County Council.

Marina Ferenţ

Economist by profession, graduate of Babeş-Bolyai University , Marina has been an enthusiastic volunteer in cultural, educational and social events since 2008.

She was Team Coordinator in the OmniPASS project of DETTRA company and in the Festival of the Interwar Period of Ideograma association.

She was member of the New Horizons Cluj organisation for 4 years . During this period, she activated as president, vicepresident and Project Manager of Th!nk New project for 2 years.

Marina was also member and several team and individual prizes winner at ARDOR Transylvania (Romanian Association of Debate, Oratory and Rhetoric) for 2 years.



Institute’s magazine Department

Darius Roby

A graduate of the University of Mississippi and Babeş-Bolyai University (with specialisations in International Studies and Transatlantic Studies), Darius Roby is a travel writer, translator, and an editor for Cluj.com, a city portal with information pertaining to life and tourism in Cluj-Napoca and Transylvania.

He is also a contributing travel writer for Moldova.org and Ukraine Today.

Originally from the United States, he relocated to Romania in 2010 and has since found joy in traveling, writing, and meeting people all over the world.

His work strives to explore the relationship between history, culture, and tourism while promoting the beauty and uniqueness of the Carpatho-Dniester-Pontic region.

He has been a member of the American Geographical Society since 2015.


Media Department

Georgia Moraru

Georgia is about to graduate the Faculty of Theatre and Television, Cinematography, photography, media section a Babeş-Bolyai University and is passionate about fllm directing, with 4 short movies to her credit.

She works as an event photographer and videographer and in parallel volunteers and get accreditations at festivals like T.I.F.F. (Transylvania International Film Festival), Comedy Cluj or Untold.

Georgia’s second passion is film criticism and she writse for 2 film and theatre magazines, Eliberart.ro and Filmsense.
