I have started teaching guitar (to children and adults alike) in 2020 and, without realizing it, teaching became my main activity. Each of the people I had the pleasure of working with has managed to have a good taste of their own progress and, as far as I’m concerned, I can say that the same progress was what helped me also climb higher on my own ladder of personal success

It is my belief that in our current times there is a certain degree of beauty that our very world is lacking. Between the sharp geometry and the gray of human reality, it may very well be art’s soft, mellow shapes and colors that can prove out to be the ones able to show us the things that really matter in life and, even more so, at the same time to guide us towards them, but of course only when (and if) we will allow it.

It is too often that we suddenly find ourselves trapped within the fast pace of everyday life, lost among our own worries and personal needs, and unfortunately we end up putting aside our true feelings for something we think will somehow take us to the surface: the human mind.

In a world where “100% mind, 0% heart” has become the norm, music is what may just prove out to be the missing piece of the puzzle, the key that will bring balance to the two extremes. In other words, we live in a time when, under certain conditions, art can be more effective than the most powerful medicine in existence.

As for me, the art I chose (or maybe IT chose me) is, obviously, music. And the first instrument into which it chose to show itself to me was the guitar. In short, I am a person who simply loves the music. And yet, strangley enough, if someone were to ask me why, I honestly wouldn’t know the answer. All I know is that no matter how hard I try, I can’t imagine a world in which music is no longer.

In essence, the thing I really want to do is touch people through music in the same way other people’s music has managed to touch me in the past (and still manages to do today). Music can be powerful, much powerful than we can imagine. And when used correctly, it can help us cope with certain aspects of life in ways that we would have never even imagined before.

Now regarding my own relationship with this magnificent instrument, as a picture (or video in this case: P) is worth a thousand words, I invite you to watch the the short clips below:

Footage from 2016, taken from one of the concerts of the band I was part of at the time:

And as for something more recent, here’s one that I made at the end of 2021:

With music (as a whole) being my main passion, one day I had the audacity to take on the challenge of creating it myself. You can find some of the results below:

But for now I think that’s enough blabbering from my part. We can talk more in the future, should we ever have the pleasure of meeting in person.

Until next time, best of wishes! 🙂
