Founding member of Transilvania Creative Industries Cluster

Since this month, Multicultural Business Institute is officialy a founding member of Transilvania Creative     Industries Cluster – the first of its kind in Romania.

“In early October, the signing of incorporation articles in order to formalize the Transilvania Creative Industries Cluster took place in the Cluj-Napoca City Hall.

Initiated by Cluj Innovation Park , ARIES Transylvania, and Hygia Consult, Transilvania Creative Industries Cluster is the result of steps initiated more than four years ago, benefiting over time from the support of the North-West Regional Development Agency and the Cluj-Napoca City Hall, since then anticipating the potential for the internationalization of the extremely vibrant creative, artistic, and cultural environment in Transylvania.

The Transilvania Creative Industries Cluster Cluster activates representatives in areas such as advertising, architecture, arts, antiques, crafts, design, fashion, film, video and photography, software, electronic games, music and performing arts, business publishing (books, magazines, newspapers ), audio and television having a number of 43 founding members

The Transilvania Creative Industries Cluster is an open structure which aims to represent the interests of all creative industries in the region, both nationally and internationally. Cluj is recognized for its potential in this area, one of the avant-garde projects being the Regional Center of Excellence in Creative Industries, developed by the Municipality of Cluj-Napoca in Lomb zone, that provides the necessary infrastructure for conducting the creative activities.

By setting up this cluster, it is aimed more specifically the development of its members, identifying, and promoting initiatives that generate innovative products and services, and the creation of research, development and innovation projects. It is also wished to increase the competitiveness of the enterprises in the creative industries, based on intensive use of knowledge, as well as the support and promotion of projects of common interest, including large, cross-border projects by the creation of collaboratie mechanisms.”
