Multicultural Business Institute, as a member of Transylvania Creative Industries Cluster, attended the workshop on “Collaborative Projects: Ideas, Challenges, Benefits ” held on November 8, 2016.
This workshop was an event organized within Transilvania Creative Industries Cluster project – cultural project funded by the Ministry of Culture through the CultIN program in partnership with Your Property.
The first part of the workshop was moderated by Bianca Muntean (Executive Director ARIES Transylvania) who tried to point out the theoretical and technical aspects of joining a cluster, and the importance of cooperation among members to initiate and in particular the conduct of projects in partnership. Next, Oana Raita came with examples of collaborative projects already implemented under TREC-Transylvania Renewable Energy Cluster.
The second part of the workshop was managed by Your Property, Geanina Simion, Creative Coordinator of Your Property, who highlighted the importance of intellectual property for SMEs environment, presenting the results of a study by EUIPO on about 9,000 SMEs from the EU and highlighting the true benefits that arise from ownership of intellectual property rights. Then Liliana Pop, ambassador of EU IPR Helpdesk Romania and OSIM regional representative, presented aspects of intellectual property in collaborative projects, answering participants’ punctual problems in the workshop.
