Our colleague, Marina Ferenţ-Pipaş, is distinguished by a promising scientific activity in the field of economics since the faculty. Being a graduate of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of “Babeş-Bolyai” University of Cluj-Napoca, Finance-Banks, the English language course and Master’s degree in the Econometrics and Applied Statistics Program.
Our colleague worked as a researcher in the labor market at Babeş-Bolyai University, where she obtained a research scholarship to study the evolution of the unemployment rate. At the same time, she was the data scientist, financial engineer and head of research at Orpheus Risk Management Indices and Tralio, and more recently (November 2016-March 2017) – trainee research from the European Commission at the Joint Research Center in Ispra, Milano , Italy.
Concerned about her professional-scientific training, Marina attended the Summer Seminar in Gummersbach, Germany, organized in 2015 by The Institute for Economic Studies – Europe.
Since 2014, Marina has co-authored a book, The Healthcare Systems’ Efficiency – a cross-country comparative study, author and co-author of 4 BDI-indexed articles on labor and health, and 3 papers presented at 3 conferences international events held in Cluj-Napoca, Oradea (Romania) and in Prague, Czech Republic, and co-author of the volume Professional Tools for the Success of Private Business, published under the supervision of the Multicultural Business Institute.
Currently Marina is a PhD student at the Faculty of Economic Sciences and Business Administration, “Babes-Bolyai” University, Cybernetics and Statistics field.
In parallel with our research, our colleague has been involved in 11 community projects in the cultural, artistic, educational, financial, youth programs of seven organizations. We mention the projects: OmniPASS – IVth edition, Transylvania International Film Festival, Educational Platform 2.0, Cluj International Comedy Festival, Interbelic Festival, Temps d’Images Festival.
